4 miles, 48:05 (12.02 minute/mile)
It's been a while since I last ran. Today felt all jigglely and out of breath. Definitely worked out a lot of stomach muscles. But definitely the asthma/lung thing is holding me back. The inhaler helped a little, but not entirely. Although, I haven't been taking my allergy medication as of late, and it's been spring-like. I have to start taking it again and see if it makes a difference.
As far as pace goes, been trying to slow it down and get a more consistent, but more lasting run. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere when I'm at a jog, but I can run longer that way without stopping. When I try to go at a faster pace, I may feel more powerful and making more headway, but I tire out more easily, and then I have to slow to a walk to catch myself. In the end, the time averages out to be the same. Definitely one thing I need to be more conscientious of.
My Chi Running book came in, and started reading it. It's quite interesting, and can't wait to apply some of these principles.
