I DID IT!!!

I did it -- I ran 13.1 miles when just 10 months ago, I couldn't even jog down the block!

It's definitely a fantastic accomplishment, and I knew the second I finished I knew I wanted to someday do a full. It was the most powerful moment - you feel like you do anything.

My sister and I SURPASSED our goal and raised $4124 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!!! Thank you everyone who supported us throughout our endeavour!

I'm ashamed to say it's been a week since my last run. :( Between getting sick and work stuff, I haven't found the time to run after work. I really should figure out a morning schedule to stick to for running, but I'm just SO not a morning person!

So I'm officially signed up for the Nike Marathon in SF!!! Woo-hoo!!! Now to get serious. I did not run today. But I am adamant to run tomorrow morning...

On another note, have you have had your underwear literally fall off your body? This had never happened to me... however today the underwear I grabbed in the morning and wore all day has been slowly sliding down all day long.

I know I lost a good 10 lbs these past two months from running and not eatting as much... And it's not to say I've never been the sizes smaller... in fact most my life I've been a small. But for some reason, my body shape has really changed. I'm no longer a 'small with a curvy butt'... but now a 'small with a flat ass...' :( :( :( This makes me very very sad. All my life, this has been my greatest attribute (so I'm told)... How do I keep running without losing the important curves? Losing around the chest too, but I've never been super blessed on this front... so not much of a loss there... lol. On a positive note, my hips now look great in my tight jeans...
