3 miles, 34:10 (11.39 minute/mile)
10 min warm-up elliptical
Legs felt tired after my warm-up. But after my first mile, I started feeling real strong and up'ed my speed to try to improve my time. The last mile felt good, and I probably could've kept going, but I kept my run at 3 miles to make sure I'm good at this distance for a week or so before I start tacking more on...
My outer thighs are what hurts the most. I need to find out what exactly those muscles are so I can target them to stretch, because I can't find the right stretch now that gets right to it.
A new friend I met at a bar when I decided to do this ran a full marathon last year, and is part of my inspiration to run. I told him of my progress and he told me the more I do it, the more it becomes an obsession... I certainly start feeling that now. It's been about a month since I've started, and I am so proud of myself that I've kept up with it! Yea me. :P
